Am I missing something, or did this take way longer than it should have? I ordered it and then basically just sat around waiting with updates that didn’t really tell me much. By the time it finally showed up, I didn’t need it nearly as much anymore. The product itself might be totally fine, but the shipping was slow enough that I wouldn’t order again if I needed something anytime soon.

I had a hard time getting through the instructions because they just weren’t explained in a simple, straightforward way. I reached out to support, but the answers I got still left me confused. i don’t think it should take that much back-and-forth to understand basic steps. It ended up feeling like a waste of time.

I really liked the way it looked when I first put it on my table, but after a few weeks the finish started showing dull spots and marks. You kind of expect it to hold up better than that, so it was disappointing. Maybe I didn’t use it exactly right, but the durability just wasn’t there for me.

I bought this thinking it would go a lot further, but the coverage was disappointing. My brother helped me with the project, and we both noticed the yield was way less than expected. We ended up needing more than planned

I used Odie’s Oil on a small table, i’m kind of second-guessing my choice. It looked nice enough at first, so maybe I was expecting too much, but keeping it looking decent has been more of a hassle than I thought. Touch-ups haven’t blended well for me, and even fixing small scratches takes more effort than I expected. Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but the repairability just hasn’t been great in my experience.

this oil works fine for what i need, but my last order felt a little different in thickness compared to the ones before. it’s still usable, just not as consistent as i’d hoped.

I was planning to use this in the kitchen, but the food safety info wasn’t super clear to me. Maybe I missed something on the label, but I read it twice while standing at the counter with a cup of coffee and still didn’t feel totally confident. Customer service did end up answering my question, so there’s that. It just took a few days and a follow-up from me, because apparently patience was part of the process. The person was nice once they finally replied, and it wasn’t a terrible experience overall, just slower than I would’ve expected

I’m disappointed with this. The color came out way warmer and darker than I expected and it totally changed the look of my wood. The finish also wasn’t what I was going for at all, instead of that natural matte look, it left this odd shine in certain spots. Maybe I did something wrong applying it, but for the price I really expected better. I also had to chase them up just to get a response about it, which made the whole experience more frustrating. I wouldn’t buy it again

It starts out going on fine, but then I felt like I had to really work it in and keep buffing forever just to get it to look even. Maybe I used too much, but the directions weren’t very clear about that. The final result looked decent, so it’s not terrible, but for me it just wasn’t worth all the extra effort

The product itself seems fine so far, but the packaging wasn’t great. The lid had a bit of oily residue on it, and the box looked like it had been knocked around maybe 2 or 3 times too many. For the price, I was expecting it to arrive in better shape.

I tried this on a walnut piece, my gut reaction was that it just didn’t do much. The grain barely popped at all, and once it dried, the whole thing looked kind of flat. For the price, I was expecting a lot better.

It looks totally fine once it’s on, but yeah the drying time was a bit longer than I figured. Full cure took awhile too, so just don’t expect it to be ready super quick.
